The leaders of Info Power To The People, Inc. (IPTTP) emerged from the historic wave of the
Movements for Civil Rights and the Great Society. That era redistributed wealth (from the rich to the poor)
through tax-funded programs that built infrastructure and institutions. We now live in the backlash of those progressive movements.
Conservatives are limiting the function of government and redistributing wealth from the middle-class to the rich,
thereby increasing the ranks of the poor and diminishing the tax base.
We advocate an entrepreneurial approach to create new, productive capacity that builds power in poor communities and
enables us to reclaim our place as valued members of our nation.
